About
Thank you for visiting my web page. My name is Dr. Wesley Null. I’m an Associate Professor of Curriculum and Foundations of Education at Baylor University. I hold a joint appointment in the School of Education and the Honors College at Baylor, where I teach courses in educational history, educational philosophy, and curriculum theory. In the Honors College, I teach in Baylor’s Great Texts program and also serve as Assistant Director of the University’s Honors Program. In addition to teaching, I conduct research on curriculum theory, educational history, and pedagogy.
I have designed this web page primarily for my students. You may access information about my courses and the areas of research that interest me by clicking on the appropriate link listed to the right. Feel free to stop by my office, Draper 219B, during my office hours or call (254) 710-6120 to make an appointment. Or, if you would like, send me an email.
In addition to my interest in curriculum theory and pedagogy, I have conducted research on the history of American education, specifically curriculum and teacher education. I have published several books on these topics, links for which are to the right.I currently serve as the Editor of the American Educational History Journal, which is published by the Organization of Educational Historians. In addition to books, my work can be found in journals such as Teachers College Record, the Journal of Curriculum and Supervision, The Educational Forum, the Kappa Delta Pi Record, the Curriculum and Teaching Dialogue, and the American Educational History Journal.
