ARTFL-FRANTEXT
The ARTFL implementation of the FRANTEXT database (formerly the Trésor de la Langue Franøcaise) consists of texts from the twelfth through the twentieth centuries ranging from classic works of French literature to various kinds of non-fiction prose and technical writing. The eighteenth, nineteenth and twentieth centuries are about equally represented, with a smaller selection of seventeenth century texts as well as some medieval and Renaissance texts. Genres include novels, poetry, theater, journalism, essays, correspondence, and treatises. Subjects include literary criticism, biology, history, economics, and philosophy.

Ageline
An online database containing detailed summaries of publications about older adults and aging, including books, journal and magazine articles, research reports, dissertations, and videos. Users can search AgeLine by various options, such as subject, author, title, keywords, etc.; publication coverage is from 1978 to the present, with selected coverage from1966-1977.

This resource was available at no cost from the American Association of Retired People, but they were unable to continue to support it, and it was purchased by database vendors and is now available as a subscription.

Parker Library on the Web

An interactive, web-based workspace designed to support use and study of the manuscripts in the historic Parker Library at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. The Parker Library’s holdings of Old English texts accounts for nearly a quarter of all extant manuscripts in Anglo-Saxon, including the earliest copy of the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle (c. 890), the Old English Bede and King Alfred’s translation of Gregory the Great’s Pastoral Care.
