Using YouTube videos in PowerPoint 2007

May 13th, 2008 · No Comments

We recently had a request from a faculty member who wanted to know how he could download a YouTube video and insert it into a PowerPoint presentation. To embed a YouTube video into PowerPoint 2007, it’s not necessary to download the video at all. However, if you’re set on being able to download the video first, read our previous post about how to download videos from YouTube. Once you have the video in a file format PowerPoint will accept, such as .wmv, .mpeg, or .avi, you can insert the file as a media clip into a PowerPoint slide.
