#13 Lady Bears top #12 Golden Bears

Nice win for the Lady Bears yesterday afternoon on national TV, as 13th-ranked Baylor came from behind to beat No. 12 Cal 69-56 at the Ferrell Center.
How about this unbelievable stat: under head coach Kim Mulkey, the Lady Bears are 53-1 in home nonconference games. Overall, Baylor is 103-13 in the Ferrell Center in Mulkey’s eight seasons.
The Lady Bears improved to 5-0 on the season, equaling the Baylor men’s team’s perfect start this year. Monday, coach Scott Drew’s team received votes in the polls for the third time in four weeks. The Lady Bears will likely move up a spot or two in the rankings when they are released Tuesday.
The Baylor men and women each have five more home games before starting conference play in mid-January. Get your tickets now!
