Record day for Baylor football
Posted by The Baylor Proud Team in : Athletics , trackbackA fantastic weekend for Baylor athletics, as Soccer ran its unbeaten streak to five games with wins over Jacksonville and Stetson; Volleyball went 3-0 to win the SMU/Radisson Invitational; and Women’s Cross Country runners took 1st, 2nd and 3rd at the BYU Autumn Classic, leading the Bears to the team victory.
Perhaps most impressive, however, was Big 12 Player of the Week Blake Szymanski’s (#6 above) performance in the Bears’ 42-17 win over Rice on Saturday. The sophomore quarterback set new school single-game records with 412 passing yards and six touchdown passes, including four in the first half (another Baylor record).

Sic ’em, Szymanski!
